We are the holding of the heat and surface treatment companies of the Dutch enterprise Aalberts Industries N.V.. In Germany the Hauck group based in Remscheid and AHC-Oberflächentechnik GmbH based in Kerpen are counted among these companies. From 2006 both groups enter the market together under the designation “Aalberts Industries Material Technologies” – AIMT in short. But the new technology group AIMT will not be confined to Germany. According to the present planning the group will comprise 54 locations also being in the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain and Portugal. With about 2,600 employees AIMT will be Europe’s market and technology leader in the material treatment sector. This brings with it a multitude of advantages for the customer, mainly the combination of heat treatment and surface treatment under one roof. Often components need a heat treatment (e.g. hardening, annealing, nitriding) before a surface protecting coating. In these cases, dealing with AIMT the customer will have one contact partner, who organises the complete material treatment of the customer’s component. There is more expertise in solving issues as the wide range of AIMT know-how can be used.
